Not writing much of a post this week as I am preparing for a small adventure. I'm driving up to visit Travis and Allen and Tracy Guadalupe and Rafi in Ajijic. Who's Rafi, you ask? A puppy on crutches. Don't worry, you'll get photos and a full report, as I'm sure you know. We'll have to see how much Tracy G is enjoying being upstaged by an English bull terrier pup. I can just imagine.
The adventure part is that I'm taking a different route, going up the back way through the Sierras and beyond. I have no idea what the road will be like but I know the scenery will be stunning. I have no idea how long it will take but I know I'll get there eventually. That's what adventures are about sometimes. Maybe I'll take some pictures, but not while I'm driving.
Well, that was a fun experiment last week, wasn't it? Lots of people joined in to the discussion opened in Quad Wrangle. If you haven't read their exellent comments and contributions, I encourage you to do so by clicking on Comments at the bottom of that post. If you have anything to add, don't be shy.
After all, now and then we have to make some waves, don't we?

Have fun in your journey - and have fun with your shopping excursions. Can't wait to see photos of Rafi - I know he's found a wonderful home with his new owners.
Was fantabulous to see you!!! Thank you so much for your hospitality. Your house is beyond description, we picked up like no time had passed since we last saw each other - and you're brother is pretty cool too! :) :) No surprise there though, though!

Back roads to Ajijic..... wow. Will you see the lava beds? Will you stop to see the very interesting wind pyramids near Ixtlan del Rio.......... will your car over heat and find you using your water bottle..... will you be very very very careful out there all on your own?.... we wish you safe travels. and of course hugs to TG!
