Thursday, Sept. 9, 7:00 a.m.
This week's blog has been delayed for a few days due to weather.
As in torrential rains, overflowing rivers, floods and mud and shattered bridges.
I have stories. There will be photos. You won't believe your eyes.
I'll post as soon as I can, and will send an email out to let you know. Now I'm off to try to make my flight to Seattle, leaving San Pancho by panga or zipline or...???
Hasta pronto.

I am so glad to hear that you are safe and hopefully will be able to fly out as planned. I dread hearing what the poor folks of Nayarit/Jalisco will be dealing with for months to come, the pictures look awful. I can't imagine how they will be able to get the crumbling highway back into safe driving condition for two lanes of heavy trucks. I will be watching for your next post with a heavy heart.
