Well, I lost one whole post this week because of a sudden brown-out that turned into a blackout. That's okay, though, because I have these photos to show you of the Día de Guadalupe festivities back on December 12.
The whole town turned out, pretty much. I waited in a good spot alongside Tercer Mundo, in front of the primary school, in the shade, for a longish time 'til the parade finally got going, to take my photos.
Meanwhile, Judith, who was somewhere else watching, also took photos, so I'll treat you to a collection of hers, too. She followed the parade to the church, as you'll see.
The children of the primaria streamed across the street just before the parade arrived. They wanted to watch, too!
Here they come!
No, no, Tracy...this isn't your celebration. It's for the other Guadalupe. Scram.
The following are Judith's excellent photos.
Hope you're enjoying a New Year full of blessings!
See you next week.
Love the photos and especially love the costumes of the children. And the horses and the great photo of the spurs!
